Spring Market Events Cancelled or Postponed

Many events that we have committed to attending in the next little while have been cancelled or postponed due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).    Organizers have taken the difficult decision based on the advice of health experts.  We can all agree that the wisest course of action is doing our best to contain and limit the spread by reducing public contact at this time. "Ontario's chief medical officer of health is recommending the immediate suspension of all large events and public gatherings of over 250 people due COVID-19" We will keep our Event Calendar and Facebook page up to date as we are notified of any cancellations or postponements.   Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak...

Seedy Saturday and Sunday Events 2020

We will be participating in several ‘Seedy Events’ this year in the area…there are over 150 across and Canada and if you are wondering what they are all about visit the Seeds of Diversity website, the organization that helps promote them.  Here is some info from the Seeds of Diversity  website. “We are a group of seed savers from coast to coast who protect Canada’s seed biodiversity by growing it ourselves and sharing it with others.
