Kricklewood Farm Goat Milk Soap

We make goat milk soap using the traditional ‘cold process’ method where fresh goat milk is combined with lye and blended with a mixture of fats to undergo ‘saponification’, the chemical reaction which results in soap.  The quality of soap is determined by the quality of ingredients which go into it.  The goat milk soap contributes all the moisturizing qualities of milk and the fats selected include shea butter and our own Kricklewood Farm Sunflower Oil. Each fat contributes its own levels of ‘conditioning’, ‘cleansing’, ‘bubbly’ and ‘creaminess’ qualities and together the recipe will give an amazing bar of soap.

We offer the soap in several varieties including Pure and Natural, Oatmeal, Lavender, Rosemary Mint and Cinnamon Oatmeal.  They are available at the farm gate, at select retail locations in the area. If you live in eastern Ontario or are planning a visit,  have a look at our Find A Store page to find locations near you.

Hi Dagmar, Thanks for getting in touch and hope you are enjoying our goat milk soap! Regarding an ingredient list for our ‘Pure and Natural’ soap, it contains goat milk, lye, honey and a blend of plant based fats: our own sunflower oil, palm oil, coconut oil, castor oil and shea butter. If there is anything else we can do for you, let me know.

Hi – do you make any soaps that do not contain coconut oil? My son is allergic to all nuts, coconut and sesame.

Hello, Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately we only have one basic recipe for our goat milk soap and it does contain coconut oil.
