Going to the Dogs!

Kricklewood Farm Goat Milk Soap for Dogs

Goat Milk Soap is great for people’s skin so why not for dogs too?   I found a recipe for a Citrus Eucalyptus blend that is said to repel fleas and other insects.  Citronella, Orange Peel and Lemongrass all make it a refreshing cleansing blend.  I tell people, good for dogs and master too as it’s all natural.

The molds make it special for dogs too:  an almost full sized dog bone, a couple of paw print designs and my favourite, the sitting Labrador Retriever.

Hi Ho Silver!

We have a guest at the farm, Silver the Nubian buck on loan from Judy. His job is to make sure we have baby goats next Spring and so far he seems to be doing his best to make sure that happens.

This slideshow captures the beginning of the encounter with Devora which we present in a ‘G’ rated format so no need to send the kids to the other room.

It’s been interesting having a buck around as he is quite friendly and curious. We will be happy to see him go back though as he is quite smelly!  We will be looking forward to the new kids which should arrive at the beginning of April.
